Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced engineer for a full-time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project, including data centers. The role focuses on managing mechanical and electrical systems, coordinating with the project team, and maintaining schedule and budget compliance.

Responsibilities include leading the MEP coordination with the VDC Engineer, preparing contract item lists, handling RFIs, and guiding turnover activities from start-up to closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience.
• Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems within project types.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Turner project team, subcontractors, owner's consultants and representatives to ensure optimal alignment and efficient systems installation.
• Prepare and manage the contract items list for all components, materials, and systems to ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule.
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide the latest information for informed project planning.
• Evaluate and manage processing of RFIs and change orders with subcontractor financial awareness.
• Co-lead the MEP coordination process with the VDC Engineer to ensure design, operations, and quality standards are met.
