Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Engineer to manage MEPS information for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects including Data Centers. Travel 70-80% to coordinate mechanical and electrical systems, partners, and schedules to maintain on-time, safe delivery within budget and contract standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong verbal and written communication; leadership ability.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the Turner project team, subcontractors, owner’s consultants and representatives to ensure optimal alignment and efficient systems installation.
Prepare and manage the contract item’s list for all components, materials, and systems to ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule.
Participate in schedule update meetings and provide the latest information for an informed schedule.
Evaluate and manage the processing of RFIs.
Manage the budget including review, evaluation, and negotiation of all change orders with understanding of the financial status of all subcontractors.
Supervise, coach and mentor Assistant MEP Engineers.
Co-lead the MEP Coordination Process with the VDC Engineer to ensure compliance with design requirements and quality standards.
