Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Systems Engineer for a full-time traveling assignment across the United States, supporting aviation projects. Manage and evaluate information related to MEP systems to ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to the contract standards.

You will lead project teams, coordinate with subs and consultants, manage change orders, mentor junior engineers, and drive the MEP coordination and turnover processes from design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of engineering experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and how they interrelate across project types.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure optimal alignment and efficient systems installation.
• Prepare and manage contract item lists to align with the project schedule and approvals.
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide current information for accurate scheduling.
• Evaluate and manage RFIs.
• Manage the budget, review and negotiate change orders, monitor subcontractor financials.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
• Co-lead MEP coordination with VDC engineer and ensure design compliance and turnover.
