Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Mechanical/Electrical Engineer for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers. You will lead project teams, coordinate with subs and consultants, manage schedules, RFIs, budgets, and turnover processes to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum four years of engineering experience related to mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team, subcontractors, and consultants for optimal systems installation.
• Prepare and manage contract items list to ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule.
• Participate in schedule updates and provide latest information for informed planning.
• Evaluate and manage processing of RFIs and changes.
• Manage budget reviews and negotiations with subcontractors.
• Coach and mentor junior MEP engineers and coordinate with the VDC engineer.
• Oversee turnover, startup, testing, commissioning and closeout activities.
