Job summary

Talentify in Pearland, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations and the patient experience at our outpatient physical therapy center. The role includes greeting patients, scheduling, collecting co-pays, and coordinating with insurance and providers.

This PRN/Perdiem position offers weekday schedules that vary, requires travel between Pearland centers, and starts at $16 per hour with 401k eligibility after meeting hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience greeting patients and handling front desk tasks preferred.
• Scheduling and coordination with providers and payers is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance, translation services, market leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
