Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide essential clinical and clerical support across offices in Fairfield, Norwalk, and Wilton. You will assist with vitals, screenings, patient history, and health maintenance under provider supervision.

This role requires travel between offices, a Medical Assistant diploma or CT CNA/EMT certification, and EPIC EMR experience. The network offers tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification.
• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• All required credentials maintained throughout employment.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. Includes vitals, allergy/medication reconciliation, screenings, patient history, health maintenance, and directives.
• Provide indirect patient care including scheduling, check-in/out, referrals, chart prep, and prior authorizations; conduct point-of-care testing with quality control and documentation.
• Travel between Fairfield, Norwalk, and Wilton offices.
