Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Technician based in Blue Ash, Ohio. You will install lighting products in customer facilities, ensuring neat, safe installations and excellent service. A hiring bonus is offered for bringing a complete crew.

The role requires 2–4 years of lighting/electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel. You will follow safety policies and contribute to project success while advancing within a growing team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of lighting and electrical experience required.
• Experience with lighting retrofit strategies is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, and controls in customer facilities.
• Work safely to avoid damage to customer sites and equipment.
• Climb ladders/scaffolds/roofs to install or repair electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Follow government/local regulations and safety guidelines.

Overview

Must be able to travel 10 days on, 4 days off.

As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customer’s facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Additionally, there is a hiring bonus for bringing a complete crew.

Responsibilities

• Comply with FSG safety policies.
• Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
• Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process.
• Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
• Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel
• Must be reliable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills

Pay Range
