Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lighting Technician to install lighting products safely and neatly in customer facilities. The candidate will provide strong customer service and possess knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, installing fixtures and components, and working from ladders or rooftops to complete service orders while complying with regulations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
• Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must be reliable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customer’s facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Additionally, there is a hiring bonus for bringing a complete crew.
• Responsibilities:
• Comply with FSG safety policies.
• Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
• Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process.
• Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
• Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel
• Must be reliable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills
