Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Western Reception Diagnostic Center in St. Joseph, MO. This full-time position is with the Centurion Eagles Travel Team, offering benefit-eligible employment across the country.

The LPN will provide holistic care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff, and respond to a range of health needs in a correctional setting. Travel experience preferred and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri LPN license with IV certification.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must live 90+ miles from the facility.
• One year LPN experience in clinic, hospital, or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.

We are currently seeking a full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Reception Diagnostic Classification Center located in St. Joseph, Missouri. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities across the country.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
