Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Day Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision, with opportunities nationwide and full-time, benefit-eligible employment.

The position requires an active MO or Compact LPN license with IV certification, CPR/BLS, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered MO or Compact LPN license with IV certification.
• Must reside within 90+ miles of the designated facility.
• Minimum of 1 year LPN experience in outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year travel nursing experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Travel LPNs assigned to Missouri earn up to $1,625/week including non-taxed weekly stipend.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Day Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification.
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred.
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
