Centurion Health is seeking a Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Women’s Eastern Reception Diagnostic & Correctional Center in Vandalia, Missouri. This full-time, night-shift position offers travel opportunities nationwide and benefits as a Centurion employee.

The role requires an active Missouri (or compact) LPN license with IV certification, CPR/BLS, and a willingness to travel for short-term assignments.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri or Compact LPN license with IV certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Women’s Eastern Reception Diagnostic Classification Center located in Vandalia, Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

Job Details: Location - Vandalia, MO; Facility: Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center; Schedule - Night shift; Position Type - Full-Time; Education Level - High School Diploma/GED; Travel - Short-Term/Travel Assignment; Travel LPNs earn up to $1,625/week including a non-taxed weekly stipend.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
