Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Women’s Eastern Reception Diagnostic Center in Vandalia, MO. The travel LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Requirements include an active Missouri or Compact LPN license with IV certification, CPR/BLS, and travel nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri or Compact LPN license with IV-certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Willingness to travel; travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must reside 90+ miles from the facility.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen/criminal background).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.

Overview

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Women\'s Eastern Reception Diagnostic Center located in Vandalia, Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees. Travel LPNs assigned to Missouri earn up to $1,625/week including a non-taxed weekly stipend.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification.
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred.
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
