Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Full-time Night Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, MO. You'll provide holistic nursing care under RN supervision and coordinate with medical and psychiatric staff to meet inmates' health needs.

Ideal candidates hold an active Missouri or Compact LPN license, CPR/BLS, and travel nursing experience. This role includes benefits and full-time employment with the Centurion Eagles Travel Team.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri or Compact LPN license with IV-certification.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year as LPN in clinic, hospital, or correctional/long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address health needs.
• Travel to assigned facility and remain compliant with security checks.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Night Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
