Job summary

Centurion Health at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, MO, invites a Full-Time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team. You will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision and collaborate with RNs and psychiatric staff.

Qualified candidates hold a Missouri or Compact LPN license with CPR/BLS, and have at least one year of LPN experience; willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri or Compact LPN license with IV-Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification active.
• Minimum of one year LPN experience in clinics, hospitals, or correctional settings preferred.
• Minimum travel nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and background checks.
• Must live 90+ miles from the designated facility.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, MO. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
