Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Day Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. In this role, you will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, working under the guidance of Registered Nurses and medical staff.

The position offers full-time, benefit-eligible employment with opportunities for travel across the country. Qualifications include an active LPN license, CPR certification, and preferably one year of LPN experience.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in relevant settings.
• Must be certified in CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Day Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Algoa Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification
• Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
