The Weitz Company is seeking a Licensed Electrician to oversee electrical installations on data center projects, traveling to site locations as required. This non-union role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and adherence to NEC and local codes.

You will review drawings, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with project managers to meet milestones across multiple sites in Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Master Electrician License or Journeyman License required.
• Extensive electrical construction and leadership experience.
• Data centers or large-scale commercial/industrial project experience preferred.

• Provide expert-level oversight on electrical installations to ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local codes.
• Supervise electricians, apprentices, and field staff.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Support and enforce safety programs, ensuring compliance with all site safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trade leaders to align schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed.
