Job summary

The Weitz Company / Contrack Watts, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to travel to project sites, primarily data-center programs, and provide expert electrical oversight under a Master Electrician.

This non-union role supports safety, code compliance, and on-site leadership across multiple locations. Ideal candidates hold a valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license, extensive electrical construction experience, and strong blueprint-reading skills.

Qualifications

• Valid state journeyman license required.
• Master Electrician license preferred or required depending on project scope.
• Extensive electrical construction experience with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level oversight on electrical installations to ensure NEC, state and local code compliance.
• Supervise and mentor electricians, apprentices, and field staff.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Enforce safety programs and site safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trade leads on schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
