Job summary

EPI Power, LLC, a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to travel to data-center project sites, including Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Master Electrician will provide oversight, leadership, and ensure installations meet NEC and local codes.

This non-union role requires extensive field experience, ability to supervise crews, review drawings, and maintain safety compliance across multiple sites. Travel will be to various project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Master Electrician License or Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Extensive experience in electrical construction and project leadership.
• Prior experience in data centers or large-scale commercial/industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level oversight on electrical installations to ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local codes.
• Supervise and mentor electricians, apprentices, and field staff.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Support and enforce safety programs, ensuring compliance with all site safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trade leaders to align schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed.
