Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Manager for a unique, travel-intensive role in Knoxville, TN.

You will oversee leasing and move-in processes for new construction communities, driving occupancy targets while managing marketing, advertising, and branding across locations—plus high touch liaison with residents and partners. Responsibilities include generating qualified traffic, coordinating applications, reviewing credit and compliance, and ensuring timely move-ins.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year leasing, property management, hospitality and/or retail experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication via email, Microsoft Teams and telephone.
• Proficient understanding of English language; grammar and punctuation required.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified traffic and document inquiries/denials.
• Plan and implement marketing events.
• Utilize social media and online sources.
• Visit competitive properties and prepare reports.
• Communicate professionally with clients/investors/community leaders.
• Manage application paperwork and compliance processes.
• Take applications and collect required documentation.
• Submit and review applicant credit/criminal screenings.
• Process applications to achieve high approval percentages.
• Prepare and implement timely move-in processes.
• Achieve 100% occupancy during transition to management.
