Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Lean Transformation professional to lead and support lean initiatives across business units and projects. The role focuses on enhancing customer value, fostering a learning environment, and maximizing team collaboration on construction initiatives.

You will report to the General Manager or Regional Lean Manager and work on-site at projects with a dotted line to regional leadership. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Last Planner System project experience.
• Preferred BIM experience.
• Willing to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lean enterprise culture initiatives aligned with region and company goals.
• Work daily with teams using the Last Planner System.
• Provide insight, direction and alignment to project teams and BU management.
• Support successful project launches using the Launch Matrix.
• Assist teams in using Lean Roadmap for project and company goals.
• Establish Visual Management, LPS, and 5S on projects and sites.
• Develop and deliver lean training and coaching; share improvement learnings.
