Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned Lean/Operations professional to lead and support Lean initiatives at the business unit or project level in Albany, NY. You will drive customer value, foster a learning culture, and coach teams in Lean tools including LPS and 5S.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with five+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel 10-20%. Reports to the regional leadership and project executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years’ related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Last Planner System project experience or Advancing Lean training.
• Preferred BIM experience and BIM staff collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lean initiatives to enhance customer value and collaboration at BU or project level.
• Utilize Last Planner System daily with project teams.
• Provide direction and strategic alignment within the business and project teams.
• Support project launches using Launch Matrix and Lean Roadmap as planning tools.
• Set up Visual Management, the Last Planner System, and 5S at projects.
• Develop and implement lean improvement initiatives through coaching and workshops.
