Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Traveling Lead Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish in the Charlotte area. This role requires strong leadership to manage field operations, safety, schedule, and budget while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience on large ground-up projects, excellent communication, and a self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience (non negotiable).
• Experience in large ground up projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities and ensure subcontractor work meets quality standards.
• Coordinate field operations across all trades to maintain schedule, budget, safety compliance, and adherence to contract documents.
• Communicate project updates to leadership and participate in weekly subcontractor and owner/architect meetings.
• Enforce site safety protocols, monitor manpower, and complete daily reports.
• Support quality control, field documentation, and creation of look-ahead schedules.
• Track deliveries and verify that materials, equipment, and installations comply with approved submittals and project specifications.
