Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Traveling Journeyman Electrician for on-site work on large commercial and industrial projects. You will travel to sites, perform installations, and operate as a W2 employee with benefits; per diem is available for eligible workers.

Compensation is $45–$48/hour with overtime; typical earnings reach ~$4,000 per week and $218k–$229k annually. Requirements include a Journeyman license, hands-on experience, NEC knowledge, blueprint-reading skills, and a pre-employment

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Hands-on experience performing commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical regulations.
• Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, plans, and diagrams.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Perform layout and complete electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Ensure electrical work complies with NEC requirements, safety regulations, and project specs.
• Help direct and train Electrical Apprentices in the field as needed.
