CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Traveling Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Lead ISSO in planning, organizing, and maintaining the RMF program for C-17 Training Systems. The role ensures adherence to U.S.

government cybersecurity requirements, conducts vulnerability assessments, and serves as the primary site security liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The position involves frequent travel to customer and site locations to ensure consistent security practices and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional cybersecurity experience; US citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and procedures (NIST, DoD, Air Force).
• Perform vulnerability and compliance scans using DoD-approved tools.
• Conduct system security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
• Monitor and enforce RMF controls in eMASS and support system accreditation.
• Prepare and maintain RMF security documentation including SSPs and POA&Ms.
• Provide cybersecurity support for sustainment activities, including upgrades and patching.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to integrate cybersecurity into workflows.
• Manage and respond to system security incidents with proper documentation and mitigation.
• Provide guidance on secure configuration, operations, and backups.
