Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Traveling Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Lead ISSO in managing the RMF program for C-17 Training Systems.

The role requires travel to customer and site locations to ensure consistent security practices and alignment with contractual and regulatory directives. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in IT/cybersecurity and 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with US citizenship due to government requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• U.S. citizenship required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, staffing, managing, and maintaining the RMF program for C-17 Training Systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and RMF controls.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Prepare and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and POA&Ms.
• Provide security posture reports to leadership and stakeholders.
