Job summary

CAE USA traveling Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) supports the Lead ISSO in planning, organizing, staffing, and maintaining the cybersecurity RMF program for C-17 Training Systems. Travel to customer sites ensures consistent security practices and compliance with DoD directives.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, DoD knowledge, and strong ability to interface with stakeholders. Domestic and international travel will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional cybersecurity experience; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and procedures (NIST, DoD, Air Force).
• Perform vulnerability and compliance scans using DoD approved tools.
• Monitor and enforce RMF controls and support system accreditation.
