Nextlink is seeking a Traveling Field Installation Technician to deliver on-site internet installations and service visits across our operating states. The role requires frequent travel, two-week out-of-market periods, and lifting and mounting equipment.

You will climb towers, configure routers, troubleshoot, and ensure high-quality customer experiences while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass tower certification training program.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work outdoors.
• Able to climb towers and work at height.
• Drug screening and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer installations and service visits.
• On-site troubleshooting and equipment recovery.
• Configure routers and customer devices for Internet access.
• Install equipment up to roof height and run cables.
• Maintain safety and tower procedures.
• Perform site surveys and diagnose problems.
