Nextlink Internet seeks a Traveling Field Installation Technician to perform on-site installations and troubleshooting at customer locations across multiple states. The role requires climbing towers, running precision cabling, and configuring customer equipment.

You will travel two weeks out of market and two weeks in home market, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED, pass tower certification, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass tower certification training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to travel and work in various market locations.
• Ability to climb towers and work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install internet service at customer locations, including mounting equipment.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs to restore service.
• Configure routers and customer devices for access to Internet services.
• Run Cat5-E or fiber optic cabling from outside to customer locations.
• Complete customer installations and service visits as required.
• Maintain safety standards and use PPE as needed.
