Job summary

Nextlink is seeking a Traveling Field Installation Technician to install and service internet and voice solutions at customer sites across multiple states. The role requires extended travel, including two weeks out of market and two weeks in-home markets, with on-site tower work and remote diagnostics.

The ideal candidate will perform surveys, install equipment, configure networks, and troubleshoot service calls while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass tower certification training program.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to climb and work on towers.
• Willingness to travel to multiple states and locations.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer installations and service visits.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and restore service.
• Install and upgrade equipment at customer locations.
• Configure routers and customer devices for internet access.
• Perform site surveys and document installations.
• Adhere to safety and PPE requirements.
