Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain and support industrial refrigeration equipment for a diverse range of customers across North America.

The role requires working knowledge of ammonia and CO2 systems, and strong electrical troubleshooting skills. The position follows a 10-day tour with long hours and travel, including safety screenings, respirator use, and the potential for heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC tech education preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification or ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug, felony, and MVR screenings required.
• Must wear respirator and pass fit test.
• Physically capable of 10–12 hour shifts and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Travel on a 10-day tour schedule with 50–60 hour weeks.
• Diagnose electrical controls and compressor systems in ammonia/CO2 setups.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and ensure equipment reliability.
