Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an ETS Controls Technician in Houston, TX. The role involves supporting multiple plants with installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will read schematics, CAD drawings, and maintenance manuals under guidance. The position offers 0–2 years of maintenance experience opportunities, a 1st shift start, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
• 0–2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (internships or co-op experience acceptable)
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems; ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and schematics (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Travel to manufacturing plants to assist with equipment installation, setup, and startup activities
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems under supervision
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment issues and elevate complex problems as needed
• Read and follow electrical schematics, basic CAD drawings, and maintenance manuals
• Assist in equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance needs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in training and development programs to build technical skills
