Job summary

LINK Staffing is hiring an Industrial Controls Technician for a manufacturing operation in the East Houston area. The role involves reading electrical schematics, building and wiring control panels, and troubleshooting electrical problems in 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems.

Candidates with experience as industrial electricians or maintenance technicians with controls experience may qualify; a Controls Technician certification is not required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
• Experience building or wiring electrical control panels.
• Comfortable working with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• PLC, VFD, or motor-drive experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Build and wire electrical control panels from schematics.
• Work safely with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC electrical and control systems.
• Install, connect, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control components.
• Diagnose wiring, electrical, and control-related equipment problems.
• Support equipment installation, startup, repairs, and controls-related work involving PLCs, VFDs, and motor drives.

Pay: $35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time | Shift to be confirmed

LINK Staffing is hiring an Industrial Controls Technician for a manufacturing operation in the East Houston area.

This role is a strong fit for someone who can read electrical schematics, build and wire control panels, troubleshoot electrical problems, and work with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems.

A Controls Technician certification is not required. Experienced Industrial Electricians, Electrical Panel Builders, or Maintenance Technicians with relevant controls experience may also qualify.

What You'll Do
