Job summary

MasTec, Inc. seeks an HVAC/Telecom Technician to perform field service maintenance, remedial and emergency repairs on telecommunication and data center HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cooling systems, installing and upgrading components, reading electrical schematics, and ensuring safety compliance. Expect extensive travel and on-call duties with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical ladder schematics.
• Basic plumbing knowledge of sump pumps is a plus.
• Extensive travel and on-call availability are highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC codes and their proper application.
• Strong communication via phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units.
• Perform maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
• Install or replace duct systems in shelters and connect wiring per diagrams.
• Troubleshoot low-voltage control systems and test circuits.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.
