Job summary

Harris is a leading mechanical contractor seeking a Project Manager II to oversee HVAC construction projects, ensuring adherence to standards, budgets, deadlines and clear communications.

You will organize contract documents, develop schedules, manage labor and costs, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, monitor safety plans, and contribute to monthly project reviews and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize and distribute contract documents, drawings, specs, schedules, RFIs and submittals to the project team.
• Provide duration/task information for the overall project schedule and develop weekly/bi-weekly work plans.
• Manage labor requirements and attend manpower meetings, track and report labor productivity weekly.
• Track, update and report job financial status and monitor project costs and cash flow.
• Coordinate communications with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers on cost changes and billings.
• Support monthly PM reviews by communicating project financials, status and updates.
• Ensure safety requirements, site safety plans, toolbox talks and pre-task planning are performed.
