Job summary

Harris Companies, inc is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager in the mechanical construction field to lead HVAC projects. The role focuses on coordinating contract documents, RFIs, shop drawings, and field meetings while maintaining schedule, budget, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in construction project management, strong mechanical systems expertise, and familiarity with Procore and MS Project. A technical degree is required, with bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field required.
• Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred.
• 8+ years of construction project management experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the building and construction industry.
• 8+ years of experience with mechanical systems.
• PMP certification a plus; OSHA 30 certification a plus; LEED knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support during all phases of HVAC construction.
• Review, organize, and distribute contract documents, drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Draft, submit, and track RFIs and responses to keep projects moving forward.
• Attend field coordination meetings and document outcomes clearly.
• Manage scope changes, pricing, and change orders to protect profitability.
• Monitor safety, schedule, cost, and quality across projects.
