Job summary

Harris is seeking a Project Manager II - Mechanical Construction - Traveling to provide project management support during HVAC construction across project phases, ensuring standards, budget, deadlines and communications are maintained.

Responsibilities include coordinating drawings, RFIs, field meetings, QA/QC, schedule development, and change order management, with travel between project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or similar field required.
• 5+ years' knowledge/experience in building and construction industry.
• 5+ years' strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Experience in design techniques, tools and principles.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize and distribute contract documents, drawings, schedules and submittals.
• Draft, submit and track RFIs and responses.
• Attend field coordination meetings and distribute notes.
• Administer project QA/QC program and maintain documentation.
• Manage progress drawings, as-built drawings and closeout documentation.
• Identify, price and negotiate change orders.
• Develop weekly/bi-weekly work plans to support the overall schedule.
