Job summary

Poppy Bank is seeking a Maintenance Technician on a contract (1099) basis in Amarillo, TX. The role rotates between hotels in the market for one week at a time to fix maintenance issues; travel is 70%.

You will perform repairs on carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, install and repair kitchen appliances and PTACs, and may prep rooms or assist with cleaning as needed. Liability insurance proof is required.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred (2 years).
• HVAC, plumbing and electrical repair knowledge.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and fixtures.
• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical or mechanical repairs as needed.
• Install and repair kitchen appliances and PTACs; repair walls, roof, and floors.
• May prep rooms and assist with cleaning duties; on-call after hours and weekends.
