Job summary

Beltone-New-England seeks a Hearing Care Specialist to assist the Hearing Care Practitioner in three Rhode Island offices (Westerly, Narragansett, Cranston). This full-time, weekday role requires travel among offices and provides the opportunity to advance in hearing care.

You will help patients with their hearing aids, ensure devices are clean and synced with phones, and assist with aftercare, reprogramming as needed. Beltone supports licensing if not yet obtained.

Qualifications

• Must travel between three RI offices: Westerly, Narragansett, Cranston.
• Three weeks of training in Rhode Island.
• Must obtain and maintain an appropriate state license to practice as a Hearing Care Specialist.
• Full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday, no weekends.
• Beltone will assist in licensing if not currently licensed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Hearing Care Practitioner with patients after care.
• Assess patients for hearing issues and related disorders.
• Administer hearing evaluations and tests to determine impairment.
• Fit hearing aids and provide auditory rehabilitation.
• Represent the clinic in community outreach programs.
• Use Speech Mapping for Real-Ear measurements.
• Obtain ear mold impressions when needed.
• Establish professional relationships with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Counsel patients during and after the evaluation process.
• Help the clinic meet monthly financial goals.
