Job summary

HealthDrive seeks an Audiologist for a part-time role (2 days/week) covering nursing facilities across Rhode Island. You will conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, fit and adjust hearing aids, and manage documentation in our EMR system.

This mobile position offers autonomy, competitive compensation with uncapped earning potential, mileage reimbursement, and full malpractice coverage while providing administrative support and compliance resources.

Qualifications

• Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of hearing disorders.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use EMR and healthcare software.
• Self-starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation.
• Perform diagnostic audiological assessments, hearing aid evaluations and fittings.
• Dispense and adjust hearing aids.
• Perform cerumen management where allowed by state regulations.
• Document patient care in EMR and populate billing codes.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines for patient care and equipment sterilization.
