Beltone New England is seeking a Hearing Care Specialist to support hearing care practitioners in Westerly, Narragansett, and Cranston. You will maintain and program devices, assist with evaluations, and guide patients through aftercare and adjustments.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, device testing, and collaboration with a team to improve outcomes. Training is provided to help you obtain licensure and grow in the clinical side of hearing healthcare.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure for Hearing Care Specialist role and willingness to obtain licensing with Beltone support.
• Strong people skills and a customer-service mindset to assist patients and families.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Westerly, Narragansett, and Cranston offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Hearing Care Practitioner with patient aftercare.
• Assess patients for hearing loss and related disorders.
• Administer hearing evaluations and tests to determine the impairment.
• Fit hearing aids and provide auditory rehabilitation.
• Use speech mapping and real-ear measurements.
• Take ear mold impressions as needed.
• Counsel patients during and after evaluations.
• Build relationships with patients, coworkers, and vendors; support clinic goals.
