Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to support the General or Senior Superintendent in overseeing one or more operating areas of a construction project. This role may travel up to 100% of the time and will coordinate field crews, plan procedures, and ensure subcontract work meets specifications.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, scheduling, budgeting, and safety on site, with expectations to read documents, produce reports, and lead diverse field teams across crafts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in construction management with 1 healthcare project and 1 Superintendent role.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and safety procedures.
• Experience leading a diverse field team across crafts (carpentry, concrete, steel, interiors).
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines, and goals.
• Monitor project progress, ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of delivery.
• Assist in monitoring schedule and budget with Senior Superintendents and subcontractors.
• Read construction documents to determine requirements and plan procedures.
• Maintain reports on personnel, production, logs, and status; ensure safety on site.
