Job summary

Hoar seeks a Senior Healthcare Superintendent to assist the General Superintendent in overseeing one or more construction areas. You may coordinate multiple crews, plan procedures, verify subcontract work against specs, and participate in inspections to ensure safety and project conformity.

The role involves significant travel (up to 100%) and requires strong scheduling, budgeting, and team leadership skills to deliver quality results on healthcare construction programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on construction projects or 1 year as Senior Superintendent in healthcare.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures.
• Experience managing performance and leading a diverse field team.
• General computer skills (MS Office).
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines and goals.
• Monitor safety on site through inspections, training and regular meetings with staff and subcontractors.
• Track overall project progress and ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of delivery.
• Monitor schedule and budget with Senior Superintendents; coordinate recovery plans with subcontractors when needed.
• Read construction documents to determine requirements or plan procedures.
• Record and maintain information and produce reports on personnel, production and project logs.
