Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Superintendent to support General/Senior Superintendent on one or more projects. You will coordinate field crews, schedule activities, and ensure subcontract work meets specs. The role may require travel up to 100% of the time.

The position demands 5–7 years in construction management, a high school diploma, and strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety practices. MS Office and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in construction management with at least one Superintendent project.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures.
• Experience leading a diverse field team; proficiency in MS Office; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily field objectives, timelines and goals.
• Monitor project progress, ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of delivery.
• Track schedule and budget; work with Senior Superintendents on recovery plans and meetings.
• Read construction documents to determine requirements and plan procedures.
• Record and maintain logs, personnel data and project reports.
• Promote site safety through inspections, training and regular meetings.
