Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is a national leader in construction, offering a traveling Superintendent 3 role within our National Healthcare Division. The position requires full-time travel (up to 100%) to project assignments across the country to support timely, profitable completion of projects in line with JE Dunn’s strategic goals.

As Superintendent 3, you will lead safety, team management, and the coordination of self-perform work and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years field supervision experience.
• Lean principles experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and incident investigation across the project.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care, custody and control; manage project logistics.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings; attend OAC meetings.
• Create and manage project schedule with Project Manager.
• Monitor budget and cost reports; track changes and costs.
• Communicate project info to owners, design team and authorities.
• Ensure documentation, logs, and drawings are kept up to date.
