Job summary

WITRON Integrated Logistics, Inc is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead safety across automated distribution projects in North America. You will partner with project teams and contractors to ensure OSHA compliance and robust safety programs while supporting rapid travel to sites across the U.S.

and internationally. The role emphasizes construction and industrial safety, MHE experience, and the ability to manage safety across multiple locations with strong collaboration and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety-related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience managing safety programs in construction, industrial, distribution center environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, accident prevention, and risk management.
• Experience supporting contractor safety management on multi-employer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive safety leadership for construction, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operations within automated facilities.
• Conduct field safety oversight for contractors and internal staff on projects.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA, site safety plans, and procedures.
• Develop and implement safety programs, training, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, JSAs, and training for site personnel.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Serve as primary safety contact during inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with Safety, Project, and Operations leadership to foster safety culture.
• Perform safety inspections, facility audits, and contractor evaluations.
• Train employees on forklift operations and MHE safety.
