Job summary

HPC Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is hiring Traveling Environmental Technicians to perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination. The role requires 100% travel and physical readiness for demanding field work.

Responsibilities include emergency response, paperwork, and on-call coverage. On-site duties use PPE and operate various equipment while ensuring strict health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 100% Travel required.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Confined space entry (CSE) and 40 Hour OSHA Training required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Able to travel and work weekends; pager use.
• Attention to safety and follow-up with paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and safe practices.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment (pumps, vacuum, generators, etc.).
• Perform emergency response activities for chemical and water spills, contamination, and tank cleaning.
• Complete daily worksheets, inspections, and Health & Safety permits.
