Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Traveling General Superintendent for Mega Projects within the Advanced Facilities Group. The role requires leading safety culture, managing complex projects, and traveling on-site across the United States for large industrial, data center, and semiconductor initiatives.

The position demands 12+ years in construction, 10+ years in field supervision, and experience with Lean methods and high-tech projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Experience working on large, high tech construction projects (data centers, semiconductor, industrial/manufacturing, etc.) (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and promotes an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and organizes the overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings and participates in OAC meetings.
• Creates and updates the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Monitors project budget and cost reports, tracking changes as needed.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design teams and vendors.
• Applies QA/QC standards and supports project closeouts.
