Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a General Superintendent to develop and execute project plans for highly complex mega projects nationwide. You will lead on-site teams, manage safety culture, and coordinate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to drive project goals.

The role requires 12+ years in construction, 10+ years in field supervision, and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of construction experience.
• 10+ years of field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead all safety initiatives and mentoring to maintain an injury‑free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Develop work plans and coordinate care, custody and control of the site.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Create, manage and update project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Monitor budgets and cost reports, adjusting as needed.
• Coordinate project closeouts with owner, architect and authorities.
