Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee multiple heavy civil construction projects across assigned locations, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and adherence to contract drawings and specs. You will lead teams, coordinate with field engineers, and monitor safety and quality on advanced technology projects including Data Center markets.

This is a full-time traveling role requiring 15+ years in heavy civil, 9+ years as superintendent, and a valid

Qualifications

• 15+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 9+ years Superintendent experience.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract plans.

Responsibilities

• Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work.
• Reviews project specifications and supports job set up at all locations.
• Coordinates with internal and external teams to ensure equipment and materials meet budget and schedule.
• Forecasts the work schedule and provides scheduling recommendations.
• Documents daily activities and meeting notes.
• Promotes strict adherence to safety and process controls.
• Supervises sub-contractor production and workforce.
