Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Washington, DC seeks a General Superintendent to develop and execute project plans, lead field teams and oversee sequencing for highly complex projects. You will ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while coordinating with owners, design teams and authorities.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of construction experience, 10+ years of field supervision, and a proven track record on large-scale projects (including aviation).

Qualifications

• 12+ years construction experience
• 10+ years field supervision experience
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred)
• Must have experience leading 100M+ Aviation projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and mentoring staff.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care and control.
• Leads meetings and manages project schedule with Project Manager.
• Tracks budget using cost reports and data from Project Manager.
